In the lineage of energy work which I study, there is a main thread of transformation and transmutation. What this boils down to is that we don't have to engage with or pass on into the world what we receive. We see this in all the hero stories, the people who take absolute crap and make the best of it. Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Nelson Mandela, Oskar Schindler, and countless others who remain out of the major spotlight but who have been dealt a bad hand in life and have risen like a phoenix from the ashes - even more beautiful and triumphant for conquering circumstance.

I look up to these people because they show that we are more than we know, we can accomplish great things and overcome all of our obstacles. We can create compassion, freedom, wisdom, strength, courage, mercy, beauty, life and love from the muck.
